Overview and Previous Reports
Every few years, United Way creates a needs assessment to help determine funding priorities for the agency. This report identifies areas of critical need and is based on available data from community leaders, county, state and city representatives, volunteers and donors. Research also includes data collected from local human service agencies, and at the city, county, state and federal levels.
United Way convenes the Needs Assessment process at regular intervals. This year, United Way is expanding the assessment process to collaborate with regional stakeholders (i.e. individuals, organizations, communities, etc.) in a new way.

Give Now
Did you Know?
- People who volunteer and give live longer, are healthier and report being happier.
- When you give through United Way, you're supporting more than one issue, one charity, or one cause.
- The dollar just doesn't stretch as far as it used to - and agencies are reporting a growing need for services.
- When things are hard, they are the absolute hardest for people that United Way is designed to help, for example, seniors on fixed incomes.
- Every gift is important. Every gift can change a life. Reach out a hand to one, and influence the condition of all.
